Tri-Cities Toy and Hobby Show at Fairgrounds to Benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals
SEPT. 26, 2017 | GRAY, TENN.
Those who have a passion for collectibles and want to improve the lives of local children will have an opportunity to blend those two interests with a special upcoming event at the Appalachian Fairgrounds to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Tri-Cities Toy and Hobby Show will be held Saturday, Sept. 30, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in Building 1 of the Appalachian Fairgrounds. This event will feature the sale of comics, vintage toys, sports cards, autographed baseball cards and other collectibles.
Admission is $5 for anyone 13 and older and free for children 12 and younger. Vendors can reserve 8-foot tables for $25 apiece – or three for $60.
Proceeds from admissions and vendor table sales will be donated to
Children’s Miracle Network. Wellmont Health System has served as the Children’s Miracle Network affiliate in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia for 30 years. All money raised in the region stays here to strengthen children’s lives.
With these funds, Wellmont has made substantial investments in its facilities, including buying state-of-the-art equipment for the
neonatal intensive care unit,
pediatrics departments and
emergency departments. The collaboration with Children’s Miracle Network has also provided Wellmont with resources to fund partnerships with organizations in the community that advance children’s health.
